The 2018 Next Generation Physics Teaching conference is a two-day meeting hosted at the Huntington, West Virginia campus of Marshall University on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10.
On-site check-in will be available –
from 5 to 9 pm on Friday 9 March at Marshall University’s John Deaver Drinko Library Atrium
from 8:30 to 10 am on Saturday 10 March at ​Marshall University’s Science Building, rooms 276, 277, & 281.

Saturday afternoon events will be in Drinko Library.

Marshall University’s Drinko Library is on the main campus of Marshall University, easily reached from Exit 6 on I-64. There will be signs posted.

There are more than a dozen hotels and motels located in Huntington, near the campus of Marshall University. A limited number of rooms of been reserved for conference attendees at two hotels within walking distance of campus:

Pulman Plaza Hotel, 1001 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25701, single king beds at $94/night (breakfast included), call 866-613-3611 and request rooms under the group name KAAPT.
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Huntington-Civic Arena, 800 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25701. Single king beds at $115/night blocked until February 23, call 304-523-8880 and request rooms under the group name KAAPT.
