– The Next Generation Science Standards are the guides that determine the topics taught in schools in many states, but with the addition of engineering and cross-cutting concepts, teachers can feel overwhelmed. This workshop regarding waves will help alleviate some of those concerns. Ranking and sorting tasks, demonstrations, hands-on and computer assisted activities about waves will be utilized and presented during the workshop. This workshop is an experience and participate style workshop were participants will receive materials, activities, and ideas that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.
